FUNdamental Learning

FUNdamental Learning is an early intervention program, designed to help build cognitive, learning, motor, social and developmental skills. Our goal is to work with families and their IFSP or IEP, as they learn how to help their child develop and learn.  Best of all, as kids minds flourish, parents are there to experience every “I did it!” moment.

Formal Evaluations

Formal IQ and academic evaluations can help provide a better understanding of how your student learns best.  Your comprehensive evaluation will include:

  • Tests of Cognitive Abilities - measure several factors of intelligence, such as,  verbal reasoning, problems solving, processing speed, working memory/attention


  • Tests of Achievement - measures academic strengths and weaknesses in reading, written language and mathematics


  • Written report with interpretation and summary of each assessment
  • Individualized recommendations and strategies to improve academic performance

Educational Consultation

Alphabeteer Educational Consultants evaluate and provide educational recommendations to help improve learning programs.  Educational Consultant services can include:

  • recommend research based interventions
  • teacher training and guidance
  • help plan engaging course work & streamline lesson plans
  • recommend classroom organization strategies
  • short term or ongoing support

Special Education Advocate

I am on your team.  I will be with you at your child’s ARD/IEP meeting for support, questions & feedback and to help you make sense of all the jargon, abbreviations & paperwork.  As your advocate, let me help give you the peace of mind and put your heart at ease knowing you are ensuring your child receives the services s/he needs to be successful, academically, socially and developmentally.

Special Education Consultant

I will review your child's current & previous year ARD/IEP data & most recent school evaluation. If warranted, I will make additional recommendations that may benefit the academic, social and mental well being of your child.  But I believe you are your child’s best advocate.  I will provide you with the necessary information to speak with authority and confidently advocate for your child.
